47.5" wide x 12" high x 1 thick. DESCRIPTION: From an estate in Virginia Beach, Virginia comes this RARE, early variant of a Royal Crown Cola pressed steel roadside or store sign!

This sign is mounted on two (2) poles (remains of which are still attached), so it may have been originally intended for roadside display. According to the prior owner, her now-deceased husband made calls at feed and seed stores in North Carolina when he worked for a fertilizer company.

There is a nice chain attached to eye hooks for hanging on your wall. This sign is painted in red and yellow. Similar to, but different from signs exhibited at the RC museum in Columbus, Georgia and exhibited as functional art at Reynolda House Museum of Art in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A wonderful addition to your garage, den or man cave wall! Normal wear from decades of outdoor display on a country store.

Light pepper rust in areas and a few small paint blisters. A few bents nails on wood board backer from where sign was mounted on the store.
